Commercial Building Inspector
Commerce City, CO | $30–$45/hr (DOE) | Full-Time
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Inspector to join our growing team! This is a great opportunity for someone with ICC certifications who enjoys being out in the field, ensuring construction quality, and collaborating with project teams. If you have experience inspecting K–12 or higher education facilities and want to work with a company that values professionalism and growth, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
• Perform on-site inspections for commercial and educational construction projects
• Document findings, identify deficiencies, and verify code compliance
• Conduct firestop and special inspections per project and code requirements
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate effectively with contractors and project managers
• Collaborate with AHJs and project teams to ensure smooth inspection processes
What You Bring:
• ICC B2 Commercial Building Inspector certification (required)
• Firestop Inspector certification (preferred)
• Experience inspecting educational (K–12 or higher ed) construction projects
• ICC Special Inspections (Concrete, Steel, or Soils) a plus
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
