Provide counsel and advice to business partners with respect to applicable employment legal matters. Provide guidance and recommendations to business partners on appropriate current and pending developments in employment legal matters, advise business partners as necessary and address potential impact and risk to the company. Provide counsel on-related disputes, including managing external counsel where appropriate and coordinating with appropriate internal teams to address such matters. qualifications 5+ years of employment legal experience as a practicing attorney (prior in-house experience preferred). Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Keen attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent organizational skills. Good judgment with an understanding of when to ask for guidance or input. Excellent analytical, written, verbal, research, communication, employment contract and policy drafting skills. Solid understanding of the difference between remote and real risks. Knowledge of Washington State, Oregon and California employment laws, and employment litigation experience are assets.
