Job Description

The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build. You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.

To help us drive excellence, as an Industrial Engineer, you’ll get to:

· Support the Company’s mission, vision and values in performance of daily activities.

· Provide key input into the development of departmental strategic goals along with identifying key measurable to support the departmental goals.

· Plan utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and colleagues to improve efficiency of operations.

· Analyze work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine effective utilization of the work force and the equipment.

· Understand machine throughput analysis, as well as capacity planning.

· Support plant activities towards achieving customer awards and Quality registration (ex. TS 16949, ISO 14001, etc.)

· Responsible for adhering to all internal and OSHA required safety procedures in performing daily work activities.

· Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.

This full-time role is a part of our Engineering Team and reports to the Engineering Manager

Leadership Responsibilities

· Ability to identify, select, train and coach engineering talent.

· Provides model behavior to demonstrate corporate values.

Required Education & Experience:

  1. · Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
  2. · Minimum three (3) years of related technical, hands on experience.

Required Skills & Abilities

· Evidence of working knowledge of formal problem solving techniques such as Kaizen, value stream mapping, JIT synchronous, SMED quick die change, etc.

· Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

· Project Planning using timelines, resource allocation, cost estimates, etc.
