Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Our
Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for a
Manufacturing Engineering Technician to facilitate operational targets with direct impact on manufacturing by providing support and technical expertise on assembly, testing, and inspection of product to ensure it conforms to design data. You'll have an onsite work schedule at our business unit, Genesys Aerosystems, located in Mineral Wells, TX. Genesys Aerosystems delivers customer-focused technologies and customized solutions for Special Mission, Military & Defense, Military Trainer, Business, and General Aviation industries.
Day- to-Day Responsibilities: \n - Troubleshoot product, systems, PCB, and test equipment to component level.
\n - Component installation, removal, and replacement on PCB, assemblies per ICP standards.
\n - Aid in design, build, and assemble wiring harnesses.
\n - Aid in design and assembly of test equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
\n - Develop methods and operation sequences for fabrication and assembly.
\n - Review and coordinate the documentation of manufacturing methods and processes.
\n - Aid in the development of assembly guides, procedures, and illustrations.
\n - Investigate manufacturing problems encountered during the manufacture of parts and assemblies.
\n - Document problems in a manner to allow for traceability of faults, assemblies, serial numbers, and other identifying characteristics for trend analysis.
\n - Perform in-house calibration using procedures, design data, and tools.

Here's what you'll bring with you... \n - Associate degree, technical school, or equivalent training in electronics.
\n - 5 or more years of experience in component level troubleshooting electronics.
\n - Desire to learn programming languages and interfaces for testing software.
\n - Desire to continue training and/or education in a related field.
\n - Ability to interpret engineering drawings, parts lists, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
\n - Ability to comprehend machine operation from manufacturer's manuals.
\n - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.
\n - Ability to apply concepts of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.
\n - Excellent communication skills to instruct others performing manufacturing processes; to efficiently transmit instructions by illustrating and speaking and writing in English.
\n - Working knowledge of MS Word, Adobe, Excel, and computer aided design, such as SolidWorks applications.
\n - Must be a U.S citizen.

Salary Range Transparency: Mineral Wells, TX $25.00-$35.00 Hourly
Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
