Position Title: Mechanical Assembler
Wage: $21.90/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 4:50am-2:50pm Monday-Thursday, OT as needed on Fridays
Do you have experience with hand and power tools? Good at building things? If the answer is yes, please apply! We’re hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a company in Menomonee Falls, WI. This is an associate to hire role.
Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Identify the correct revision/date of documents and, if necessary, take appropriate action to correct
- Follow work instructions, prints, and/or available procedures and perform assembly, test, and material handling operations required to make a part or final product
- Follow the highest level of safety and quality standards, along with meeting productivity requirements
- Promote and contribute to a teamwork environment
- Adhere to all safety rules and perform required housekeeping duties
- Assist other work areas or departments as needed
- Assist in cross training others
- With assistance, perform functions of multiple assembly stations within a focus factory
Mechanical Assembler Requirements: - Able to assemble and follow a specified sequence of events, mechanically inclined
- Able to safely perform assembly functions using hand, pneumatic and electric torque tools.
- Able to safely unload components onto the assembly line or fixtures and use hand trucks to move components
- Previous mechanical manufacturing experience
- Proficient in the English Language
- Basic math skills/ability to do this job
- Proficiency in using basic gauges and measuring instruments
- Manual dexterity
- Physical ability to do the job
- Demonstrated acceptable performance in safety, quality, productivity, and attitude/teamwork
