Pharmacist in Charge
Mt Vernon is a community of about 40,000 people between the cities St. Louis, MO and Evansville, IN. We have affordable small town living with great outdoors opportunities in our back yard. Operations
This position will maintaining a multitude of different operational workflow functions and day-to-day requirements in the pharmacy. Encouraging financial benchmarks and operational goals to keep advancing new ideas for operational efficiencies. Being flexible but decisive is an important attribute when dealing with challenges in this multi-tasking roll.
Communications
Good communication skills are paramount in this position. The ability to explain pharmacodynamics and Pharmacoeconomics to patients in a professional courteous manner. Utilizing tools available to you to maximize messaging for reliable benefit for the pharmacy and the community. Be able to convey both ownership requirements and operational tasks to staff team members regularly.
Clinical
Patient education is paramount in our pharmacy. Overseeing and counseling patients for compliance through the pharmacy system and other industry tools. Very Important to have experience with vaccination applications utilizing up-to-date credential and knowledge in the evolving point of care testing arena is most desired.
Leadership
This position will require a self-directed mind set and encouraging culture of accountability. Be able to articulate policies and procedures to the staff and guide them in their roles for operational proficiencies. Set milestones for the team to achieve necessary goals through motivation and training. Oversee new revenue streams through non PBM services, evolving treatments, and continuously foster the best customer service in the industry.
Active Illinois Pharmacist License required.
