As a Security Professional - Distribution Site - Overnight Shift in Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a bustling retail distribution center, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access control, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence at the front desk. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a visible and approachable demeanor, while also responding promptly to inquiries and assisting with alarm panel operations as needed. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in customer service and are comfortable using computers or tablets. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required by site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.
• Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk, following site-specific protocols.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and offering directions or information as needed at the front desk.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
