A Snapshot of Your Day
Will be performing welding processes to fill and build surfaces on negative defects on the castings in our Gibsonton Florida Location. We use TIG welding and laser welding. This process is intended to reduce potential scrap by building up non-conforming surfaces in the Gibsonton Florida location.
How You'll Make an Impact \n - Will maintain the flow and quality of parts produced working with Tig Welding processes to fill and build surfaces.
\n - Will examine finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications and improvement analysis.
\n - Performing basic or specifically defined maintenance operations; collaborating with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues.
\n - Cross training and working on other duties as needed.

What You Bring \n - High School Diploma or GED.
\n - Previous experience in Inspection, quality, or manufacturing will be a plus.
\n - 5 or more years of experience in Tig Welding and/or Laser. Welding castings and nickel alloys will be a plus.
\n - Able to stand during working hours for long periods and to read Engineering instructions.
\n - Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
\n - This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
